it's funny how my toes can touch the swimming pool floor with my chin safely above the water now, when 11 years ago i almost drowned at that very same spot.
it's a little comforting to know how much i've grown. i feel like i should be able to tilt my head back, stare up at the azure sky ahead and not have to worry about anything.
but there's a whole future to work out. and then i feel like i'm 6 years old all over again.

likeeee i should be studying my ass off right about now.
